Step by step

Before your consultation

Prior to your consultation with your Nutritional Therapist, you will be sent a questionnaire to fill in regarding your health, diet and lifestyle. This should be completed and returned in advance of your initial consultation to enable your Nutrirional Therapist to give you the most out of your initial consultation and follow-up sessions.

Initial consultation £75

Your initial consultation will usually last for 1 hour. During this time your current health issues and symptoms, your medical history, any medication or treatment you are receiving, your diet and lifestyle and any other concerns you may have will be discussed.

You will then be provided with an explanation of your condition/s or symptoms from a nutritional and lifestyle standpoint. You will also be provided with a nutritional programme with diet and lifestyle based recommendations, that directly address your condition/s symptoms and goals. This may include a vitamin and mineral supplement programme and in some cases laboratory tests may be recommended.

Additional costs will apply to supplements and laboratory tests.

Follow-up consultation £50

You will be advised to have a follow-up appointment 4-6 weeks after your initial consultation. This usually lasts 30-45 minutes. Follow-up appointments involve building on your programme or modifying it to ensure that you achieve your health goals and gain the maximum benefit.

How many follow-up appointments you will need will be dependant on your health issues, symptoms and goals and is different for each individual.

Your programme

During your consultation, you will work with your Nutritional Therapist to develop a tailor made, easy to follow nutritional programme that will enable you to take control and help your body return to a balanced state leading to optimum health.

PLEASE NOTE: Nutritional therapy in no way takes the place or replaces conventional medicine and you should continue with any medication or any medical treatment or advice you have already been prescribed by a GP or other health care professional.
